DESCRIPTION
Regular battery power is supplied to the BATT terminal of the hybrid vehicle control ECU assembly in order to store DTCs and freeze frame data. Even if the power switch is turned off, back-up power is supplied.

Tech Tips
After the repair, clear the DTCs and perform the following procedure to check that DTCs are not output.
Turn the power switch on (IG) and wait for 5 seconds or more.

Remove the AM2 fuse from the No. 1 engine room relay block and No.1 junction block assembly.
Check if there is an open circuit in the AM2 fuse in the No. 1 engine room relay block and No.1 junction block assembly.

Remove the AM2 fuse from the No. 1 engine room relay block and No.1 junction block assembly.
Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
Disconnect the cable from the positive (+) auxiliary battery terminal.
Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Connect the cable to the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
Install the AM2 fuse.

Remove the AM2 fuse from the No. 1 engine room relay block and No.1 junction block assembly.
Disconnect the E136 hybrid vehicle control ECU assembly connector.
Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
