GENERATOR CABLE REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER

  2. DRAIN COOLANT (for Engine)

    Click here

  3. REMOVE INVERTER WITH CONVERTER ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  4. REMOVE INVERTER RESERVE TANK ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  5. REMOVE INVERTER TRAY BRACKET

    Click here

  6. REMOVE RADIATOR PIPE


    1. Remove the 2 bolts and radiator pipe from the hybrid vehicle transaxle assembly.

    2. A00YN29C01
      *1 No. 1 Radiator Hose
      *2 No. 4 Water By-pass Hose
      *3 No. 3 Radiator Hose

      Slide the 3 clips and disconnect the No. 1 radiator hose, No. 4 water by-pass hose and No. 3 radiator hose from the radiator pipe and engine assembly.

  7. REMOVE GENERATOR CABLE

    CAUTION:

    Wear insulated gloves.

      Disconnect the clamp from the motor cable bracket.

    2. A00YP22

      Remove the 3 bolts and slide the generator cable connector shell back.

    3. A00YPSX

      Disengage the 2 claws to remove the terminal cap from the hybrid vehicle transaxle assembly.

    4. A00YOXS

      Remove the 3 bolts and generator cable from the hybrid vehicle transaxle assembly.
