ELECTRONIC SHIFT LEVER SYSTEM Auxiliary Battery Low Voltage

DESCRIPTION

When the transmission control ECU assembly judges that the power source voltage (+B) is low (including due to a depleted auxiliary battery), a warning message is displayed on the multi-information display.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK AUXILIARY BATTERY


    1. Check the auxiliary battery.

  4. CHECK OPERATION


    1. Turn the power switch on (READY).

    2. With the brake pedal depressed, select neutral (N).

    3. Push the P position switch (transmission shift main switch).

    4. Check that "12-volt battery low. When parking, park in flat place and apply parking brake securely." is not displayed on the multi-information display.

    5. Turn the power switch off.

    6. Disconnect the P-COM MAIN fuse and wait for 30 seconds or more.

    7. Check that the electronic shift lever system operates correctly.
