HYBRID TRANSAXLE SYSTEM ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE REAR ENGINE UNDER COVER LH

  2. INSPECT TRANSAXLE FLUID PRESSURE

    Note

    Make sure to perform the following inspection after inspecting and adjusting the engine.


    1. Lift up the vehicle.

    2. Remove the fluid pump cover plug and O-ring.

    3. A01KREV

      Install an oil pressure gauge with the adapter.

    4. Put the engine in inspection mode.

      Click here

    5. Measure the transaxle fluid pressure.

      Reference
      Engine Speed Transaxle Fluid Temperature Transaxle Fluid Pressure
      1000 rpm 20 to 50 °C (68 to 122 °F)

      3 kPa (0.03 kgf/cm2, 0.4 psi) or more

      Note

      Be sure to cancel inspection mode immediately after the transaxle fluid pressure check is completed.

    6. A01KSEP

      Install a new O-ring and fluid pump cover plug.

      Torque:
      8.0 N*m  { 82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf }

  3. INSTALL REAR ENGINE UNDER COVER LH
