POWER SWITCH REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

1. PRECAUTION

   Note

   After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

2. REMOVE BATTERY BOX COVER (for Wagon)

3. REMOVE BATTERY BOX COVER (for Hatchback)

4. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM AUXILIARY BATTERY NEGATIVE TERMINAL

   Note

   When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

5. REMOVE NO. 1 METER HOOD CLUSTER (for LHD)

6. REMOVE LOWER NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL (for LHD)

7. REMOVE CENTER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (for LHD)

8. REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL ASSEMBLY (for LHD)

9. REMOVE NO. 1 SWITCH HOLE BASE (for LHD)

   Click here

10. REMOVE POWER SWITCH (for LHD)

    
    

    1. 

       Disengage the 2 claws and remove the power switch.

11. REMOVE NO. 1 METER HOOD CLUSTER (for RHD)

12. REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL ASSEMBLY (for RHD)

13. REMOVE INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL RH (for RHD)

14. REMOVE UPPER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (for RHD)

15. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL ASSEMBLY (for RHD)

       Disengage the 2 claws and remove the power switch.
