СИСТЕМА МЕХАНИЧЕСКОЙ ТРАНСМИССИИ "MULTIMODE" TC and CG Terminal Circuit

DESCRIPTION

Terminals TC and CG are located in the DLC3. When performing the initialization and learning procedure without using the GTS, connecting terminals TC and CG is necessary. If the TC terminal circuit is open, these calibration procedures cannot be performed without using the GTS.

WIRING DIAGRAM

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (TCM - DLC3)

   
   

   1. Disconnect the TCM connector.

   2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition E104-25 (DG) - E11-13 (TC) Always Below 1 Ω

      Result
      Proceed to OK NG

   
   

   NG

   REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

   OK

2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (TC OF DLC3 - BODY GROUND)

   
   

   1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition E11-13 (TC) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

      Result
      Proceed to OK NG

   
   

   NG

   REPAIR OR REPLACE WIRE HARNESS OR EACH ECU

   OK

3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (CG OF DLC3 - BODY GROUND)

   
   

   1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition E11-4 (CG) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω

      Result
      Proceed to OK NG

   
   

   NG

   REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

   OK

4. REPLACE TCM

   
   

   1. Replace the TCM.
