PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT OIL SAFETY VALVE SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A01XJWQ

      Coat the valve with engine oil and check that it falls smoothly into the oil filter bracket by its own weight.


      • If the valve does not fall smoothly into the bracket, replace the valve. If necessary, replace the oil filter bracket sub-assembly.

  2. INSPECT OIL COOLER ASSEMBLY


    1. A01XL4E

      Check the oil cooler for damage or clogging.


      • If necessary, replace the oil cooler assembly.
