POWER MIRROR CONTROL SYSTEM (w/ Memory) TERMINALS OF ECU


  1. CHECK OUTER MIRROR CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY (DRIVER DOOR)

    1. Disconnect the K12 connector.

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Tech Tips

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

      K12-14 (BDR) - Body ground W - Body ground +B power supply Always 11 to 14 V
      K12-6 (CPUB) - Body ground W - Body ground +B power supply Always 11 to 14 V
      K12-5 (SIG) - Body ground GR - Body ground Ignition power supply Engine switch off → on (IG) 0 V → 11 to 14 V
      K12-7 (GND) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the K12 connector.

    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      z18-4 (HTR+) - z18-12 (HTR-) B - B Mirror heater relay drive voltage Rear defogger switch on 11 to 14 V
      z18-5 (VDD) - z18-14 (GND) R-W - B-Y Mirror position sensor power supply Engine switch on (IG) 4.55 to 5.45 V

  2. CHECK OUTER MIRROR CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY (FRONT PASSENGER DOOR)

    1. Disconnect the J10 connector.

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Tech Tips

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.
