LUGGAGE DOOR HINGE TORSION BAR (for TMMK Made) REMOVAL

Note

When the luggage door hinge torsion bars are removed, their tension will be lost, causing the luggage door to slam close. Therefore, hold the luggage door securely when opening or closing it.


  1. REMOVE NO. 3 INDOOR ELECTRICAL KEY ANTENNA ASSEMBLY


    1. B000IR0

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Disengage the clamp to remove the No. 3 indoor electrical key antenna assembly.

      Note

      Be careful when removing the No. 3 indoor electrical key antenna assembly. If the antenna is dropped, replace it with a new one.

  2. REMOVE LUGGAGE DOOR HINGE TORSION BAR RH


    1. B000MKB

      Disengage the 2 claws as shown in the illustration.

    2. B000MEN

      Disconnect the luggage door hinge torsion bar RH from the luggage compartment door torsion bar support as shown in the illustration.

    3. B000NOME01

      Using SST, disconnect the luggage door hinge torsion bar RH from the left side of the vehicle body as shown in the illustration.

      Remove the luggage door hinge torsion bar RH from the right side luggage door hinge as shown in the illustration.

  3. REMOVE LUGGAGE DOOR HINGE TORSION BAR LH


    1. B000LYA

      Disconnect the luggage door hinge torsion bar LH from the luggage compartment door torsion bar support as shown in the illustration.

    2. B000J12E01

      Using SST, disconnect the luggage door hinge torsion bar LH from the right side of the vehicle body as shown in the illustration.

    3. B000LZT

      Remove the luggage door hinge torsion bar LH from the left side luggage door hinge as shown in the illustration.

  4. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR TORSION BAR SUPPORT

      Remove the luggage compartment door torsion bar support as shown in the illustration.

      Note

      Make sure to replace the luggage compartment door torsion bar support with a new one.
