      Component without harness connected

      (Front Window Deicer Switch)

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      3 (IG) - 6 (E) Front window deicer switch on Below 1 Ω
      3 (IG) - 6 (E) Front window deicer switch off 10 kΩ or higher

      If the result is not as specified, replace the front window deicer switch.

      *b Front Window Deicer Switch Indicator

      Apply battery voltage and check that the front window deicer switch indicator illuminates.

      Standard
      Tester Connection Specified Condition

      Battery positive (+) → 3 (IG)

      Battery negative (-) → 7 (D)

      		 Front window deicer switch illuminates

      If the result is not as specified, replace the front window deicer switch.
