SEAT HEATER SWITCH (for Fold Down Seat Type) INSPECTION


  1. INSPECT SEAT HEATER SWITCH (for LH)


    1. Check the seat heater switch (for LH).

        (Seat Heater Switch (for LH))

        Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        1 - 7 Off 10 kΩ or higher
        1 - 7 On Below 50Ω
        1 - 8 Always 2.4 kΩ

        If the result is not as specified, replace the seat heater switch (for LH).

    2. Check the switch illumination and indicator.

        Apply battery voltage to the seat heater switch (for LH) and check that the switch illumination and indicator come on.

        Standard
        Measurement Condition Condition Specified Condition

        Battery positive (+) → Terminal 1

        Battery negative (-) → Terminal 8

        		 Always Indicator comes on

        Battery positive (+) → Terminal 3

        Battery negative (-) → Terminal 5

        		 Always Switch illumination comes on

        If the result is not as specified, replace the seat heater switch (for LH).

  2. INSPECT SEAT HEATER SWITCH (for RH)


    1. Check the seat heater switch (for RH).

        Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition

    2. Check the switch illumination and indicator.
