REAR SEAT CUSHION HEATER (for Fold Down Seat Type) INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL BENCH TYPE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER (REAR SEAT CUSHION HEATER SUB-ASSEMBLY)


    1. Temporarily install the bench type rear seat cushion cover (rear seat cushion heater sub-assembly) to the bench type rear seat cushion pad.

    2. Using hog ring pliers, install 24 new hog rings.

      • Be careful not to damage the bench type rear seat cushion cover.

      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the bench type rear seat cushion cover (rear seat cushion heater sub-assembly).

    3. Using hog ring pliers, install the bench type rear seat cushion cover (rear seat cushion heater sub-assembly) to the bench type rear seat cushion pad with 48 new hog rings.

      • Be careful not to damage the bench type rear seat cushion cover.

      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the bench type rear seat cushion cover (rear seat cushion heater sub-assembly).

  2. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION LOCK HOOK


    1. B000HKU

      Engage the 2 claws to install a new rear seat cushion lock hook as shown in the illustration.

      Note

      Rear seat cushion lock hooks must not be reused.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  3. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY


    1. Place the rear seat cushion assembly in the cabin.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

    2. w/ Seat Heater System:


      1. Engage the 2 clamps.

      2. Connect the connector.

    3. B000LR0

      Engage the 2 hooks of the rear seat cushion assembly to the vehicle body as shown in the illustration.

    4. Confirm that the rear seat cushion assembly is firmly installed.

      Note

      When installing the rear seat cushion assembly, make sure that the seat belt buckles are not under the rear seat cushion assembly.

  4. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Place the rear seatback assembly LH in the cabin.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

    2. w/ Seat Heater System:


      1. Engage the clamp.

      2. Connect the connector.

    3. Install the rear seatback assembly LH with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      18 N*m  { 184 kgf*cm, 13 ft.*lbf }

      Engage the fastener as shown in the illustration.

    5. Raise the rear seatback assembly LH.

    6. Connect the rear seat outer belt assembly to the rear seat center shoulder belt guide.

  5. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY RH


    1. Place the rear seatback assembly RH in the cabin.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

    2. w/ Seat Heater System:


      1. Engage the clamp.

      2. Connect the connector.

    3. Install the rear seatback assembly RH with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      18 N*m  { 184 kgf*cm, 13 ft.*lbf }

      Engage the fastener as shown in the illustration.

    5. Raise the rear seatback assembly RH.

  6. INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY
