REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Reclining Seat Type) REASSEMBLY


  1. INSTALL BENCH TYPE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER


    1. Temporarily install the bench type rear seat cushion cover to the bench type rear seat cushion pad.

    2. Using hog ring pliers, install 24 new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the bench type rear seat cushion cover.

      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the bench type rear seat cushion cover.

    3. Using hog ring pliers, install the bench type rear seat cushion cover to the bench type rear seat cushion pad with 40 new hog rings.

      • Be careful not to damage the bench type rear seat cushion cover.

      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the bench type rear seat cushion cover.

  2. INSTALL REAR SEAT RECLINING ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY LH

      Install the rear seat reclining adjuster assembly with the 3 bolts and nut.

      Torque:
      18 N*m  { 184 kgf*cm, 13 ft.*lbf }

      Tech Tips

      Tighten the 3 bolts and nut in the order indicated in the illustration.

    2. Connect the connector.

  3. INSTALL REAR SEAT RECLINING ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  4. INSTALL CENTER SEATBACK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Install the center seatback cover sub-assembly to the center seatback pad sub-assembly.

    2. B000IJ2

      Engage the 4 hooks to install the center seatback cover with pad.

  5. INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT

      Engage the 4 claws to install the 2 rear seat headrest supports.

  6. INSTALL REAR SEAT WIRE

      Engage the 3 clamps to install the rear seat wire.

    2. B000KVQ

      Engage each hook as shown in the illustration.

  7. INSTALL REAR SEAT CENTER ARMREST CUP HOLDER SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. B000H2Q

      Insert the rear seat center armrest cup holder sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

    2. Install the 2 screws.

  8. INSTALL REAR POWER OUTLET SOCKET COVER

      Engage the 2 claws to install the rear power outlet socket cover as shown in the illustration.

  9. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 POWER OUTLET SOCKET ASSEMBLY

      Engage the claw to install the rear No. 1 power outlet socket assembly as shown in the illustration.

    2. Connect the connector.

      Engage the 3 clamps to install the rear seat center armrest cover to its original position as shown in the illustration.

    4. Engage the clamp.

  10. INSTALL COOLER CONTROL SWITCH ASSEMBLY


    1. Set the rear seat armrest plate to the rear seat center armrest box assembly.

    2. Connect each connector to the cooler control switch assembly.

    3. Engage the 4 claws to install the cooler control switch assembly.

    4. Engage the 3 guides and 8 claws.

    5. Install the rear seat armrest plate with the screw.

    6. Insert the guide.

    7. Install the rear seat center armrest door sub-assembly with the 2 screws.

  11. INSTALL REAR SEAT CENTER ARMREST BOX ASSEMBLY


    1. B000HS8

      Engage the 4 hooks to install the rear seat center armrest box assembly to the rear seat center armrest assembly.

  12. INSTALL CENTER SEAT ARMREST BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. B000INO

      Install the center seat armrest bracket sub-assembly with the 2 bolts and 2 washers.

      Torque:
      6.0 N*m  { 61 kgf*cm, 53 in.*lbf }

    2. Engage the 3 clamps.

  13. INSTALL REAR CENTER SEATBACK FRAME WITH COVER AND PAD


    1. B000LW3

      Engage the 2 claws.

    2. Install the rear center seatback frame with cover and pad with the 2 nuts.

      Torque:
      6.0 N*m  { 61 kgf*cm, 53 in.*lbf }

  14. INSTALL CENTER SEAT ARMREST INNER PLATE

      Insert the 4 guides and engage the 6 claws to install the center seat armrest inner plate.

  15. INSTALL REAR SEAT AIRBAG ASSEMBLY LH (for LH Side)


    1. w/ Rear Seat Side Airbag:


      1. Install the rear seat airbag assembly LH Click here.

  16. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER (for LH Side)

      Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type rear seatback cover to the separate type rear seatback pad with 10 new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the separate type rear seatback cover.

      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the separate type rear seatback cover.

  17. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD (for LH Side)


    1. Temporarily install the separate type rear seatback cover with pad to the rear seatback frame sub-assembly LH.

    2. Engage the clamp to connect the seat heater wire harness to the rear seatback frame sub-assembly LH.

      Engage the 4 claws to install the 2 rear seat headrest supports.

    4. w/ Rear Seat Side Airbag:

        Install the airbag bracket with the nut.

        Torque:
        5.5 N*m  { 56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf }

        CAUTION:


        • For vehicles with side airbags, the seatback cover must be securely installed. Otherwise, the side airbags may not deploy properly.

        • Make sure that the strap is not twisted after installing the bracket.

        • Install the bracket securely.

      Using hog ring pliers, install 12 new hog rings.

      • Be careful not to damage the separate type rear seatback cover.

      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the separate type rear seatback cover.

    6. Engage each hook to install the separate type rear seatback cover with pad.

  18. INSTALL REAR SEAT SHOULDER BELT GUIDE LH (for LH Side)

      Engage the guide.

    2. Install the rear seat shoulder belt guide LH with the 2 screws.

  19. INSTALL REAR SEAT CENTER SHOULDER BELT GUIDE (for LH Side)

      Engage the guide.

    2. Install the rear seat center shoulder belt guide with the 2 screws.

  20. INSTALL REAR SEAT AIRBAG ASSEMBLY RH (for RH Side)


    1. w/ Rear Seat Side Airbag:


      1. Install the rear seat airbag assembly RH Click here.

        Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  21. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER (for RH Side)
