FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (for TMMK Made Manual Seat) DISASSEMBLY

CAUTION:

Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the parts may injure your hands.


  1. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY RH

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Disengage the clamp.

    3. Remove the nut and front seat inner belt assembly RH.

  2. REMOVE LOWER SEAT TRACK RAIL


    1. Remove the lower seat track rail.

  3. REMOVE SEAT ADJUSTER COVER CAP

      Remove the 2 seat adjuster cover caps.

  4. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE

      Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the claw and remove the reclining adjuster release handle.

  5. DISCONNECT SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER

      Disconnect the 2 rubber bands of the separate type front seatback cover.

  6. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Disengage the 2 claws to remove the front seat cushion shield.

  7. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER CUSHION SHIELD

      Remove the 2 screws and front seat inner cushion shield.

  8. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD

      Disengage the claw and 3 clamps to separate the front seat airbag assembly wire harness.

    2. B000MU5

      Separate the separate type front seat cushion cover.

    3. B000JMM

      Disengage each hook and remove the separate type front seat cushion cover with pad.

  9. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER

      Remove the 12 hog rings and the separate type front seat cushion cover from the separate type front seat cushion pad.

  10. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD

      Disengage the hook.

    2. B000IJR

      Disengage the 2 fasteners.

    3. B000I0D

      Turn back the separate type front seatback cover.

    4. B000HH9

      Disengage the 2 hooks.

    5. B000KLC

      Disengage the 4 claws and remove the 2 front seat headrest supports.

    6. B000JHF

      Remove the separate type front seatback cover with pad.

  11. REMOVE FRONT SEAT AIRBAG ASSEMBLY


    1. B000HQU

      Disengage the 2 clamps.

    2. Remove the 2 nuts and the front seat airbag assembly.

      CAUTION:


      • The nuts must not be reused.

      • Make sure that the front seatback frame sub-assembly is not deformed. If it is, replace it with a new one.

  12. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER

      Remove the 2 hog rings.

    2. Disengage the 2 fasteners to remove the separate type front seatback cover from the separate type front seatback pad.

  13. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD LH

      Disengage the 2 claws to remove the front seat lower cushion shield LH.

  14. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD RH

    Tech Tips

    Perform the same procedure as for the LH side.

  15. REMOVE FRONT UPPER SEAT TRACK COVER LH

      Disengage the 2 claws to remove the front upper seat track cover LH.

  16. REMOVE FRONT UPPER SEAT TRACK COVER RH

      Disengage the 2 claws to remove the front upper seat track cover RH.

  17. REMOVE REAR UPPER SEAT TRACK COVER LH


    1. B000HFA

      Disengage the 2 claws to remove the rear upper seat track cover LH.

  18. REMOVE REAR UPPER SEAT TRACK COVER RH

      Disengage the 2 claws to remove the rear upper seat track cover RH.

  19. REMOVE UPPER NO. 3 SEAT TRACK COVER

      Disengage the 2 claws to remove the upper No. 3 seat track cover.

  20. REMOVE UPPER NO. 4 SEAT TRACK COVER

      Disengage the 2 claws to remove the upper No. 4 seat track cover.

  21. REMOVE OCCUPANT DETECTION ECU

      Disconnect the 2 connectors.

    2. Using a screwdriver with the tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the claw and remove the occupant detection ECU.

  22. REMOVE FRONT SEAT WIRE


    1. Disconnect each connector and disengage each clamp to remove the front seat wire.

  23. REMOVE RECLINING CONTROL LEVER

      Remove the bolt and reclining control lever.

  24. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. B000HCC

      Remove the 4 bolts and the front seatback frame sub-assembly.

  25. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK SPRING ASSEMBLY

      Disengage the 4 claws.

    2. Disengage the 2 guides to remove the separate type front seatback spring assembly.

    3. Remove the 2 front seatback hooks from the separate type front seatback spring assembly.

  26. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SPRING ASSEMBLY

      Remove the separate type front seat cushion spring assembly.
