Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the parts may injure your hands.
If the side airbag was deployed, replace the front seat airbag assembly, front seatback frame sub-assembly, separate type front seatback cover and separate type front seatback pad with the necessary parts in accordance with the extent of the collision damage.

Tech Tips
Use the same procedure for the LH side and RH side.
REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Manual Seat)
REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Power Seat)
DISCONNECT AIRBAG WIRE HARNESS (for Manual Seat)
Disconnect the 2 rubber bands of the separate type front seatback cover with pad.
Disengage the claw and 3 clamps to disconnect the airbag wire harness.
DISCONNECT AIRBAG WIRE HARNESS (for Power Seat)
Disconnect the 2 rubber bands of the separate type front seatback cover with pad.
Disconnect the connector (A).
Disengage the clamp (B).
Disengage the claw (D) and 3 clamps (C) to disconnect the airbag wire harness.
w/ Seat Heater System:
Disconnect the connector (E).
Disengage the clamp (F).
REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD (for Manual Seat)
Disengage the hook.
Disengage the 2 fasteners.
Turn back the separate type front seatback cover.
Disengage the 2 hooks.
Disengage the 4 claws and remove the 2 front seat headrest supports.
Remove the separate type front seatback cover with pad.
REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD (for Power Seat)
Disengage the hook.
Disengage the 2 fasteners.
Turn back the separate type front seatback cover.
Disengage the 2 hooks.
Disengage the 4 claws and remove the 2 front seat headrest supports.
Remove the separate type front seatback cover with pad.
REMOVE FRONT SEAT AIRBAG ASSEMBLY
Disengage the 2 clamps.
Remove the 2 nuts and the front seat airbag assembly.
CAUTION:
The nuts must not be reused.
Make sure that the front seatback frame sub-assembly is not deformed. If it is, replace it with a new one.
