DESCRIPTION

The main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) controls the operation of the following lights:


Tech Tips

The light cut relay supplies power to the lights not controlled by the illuminated entry system. If all the lights that use power from the light cut relay do not turn on, check the light cut relay circuit first Click here.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

Note

Inspect the fuses for circuits related to this system before performing the following inspection procedure.

PROCEDURE


  1. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING INTELLIGENT TESTER


    1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

    3. Turn the intelligent tester on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body / Main Body / Active Test.

    5. Perform the Active Test according to the display on the intelligent tester.

    1. Disconnect the 3B instrument panel junction block assembly connector.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Tech Tips

      Perform the check under the following condition:


      • Interior light door switch on

      • Personal light switch off

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
