    The following items can be customized.

    Note


    • When the customer requests a change in a function, first make sure that the function can be customized.

    • Be sure to make a note of the current settings before customizing.

    • When troubleshooting a function, first make sure that the function is set to the default setting.


    1. Customizing with the intelligent tester


      1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

      2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

      3. Turn the intelligent tester on.

      4. Enter the following menus: Body / Main Body / Utility / Customize / Security.

      5. Select the setting by referring to the table below.

        Security
        Display Default Content Setting Relevant ECU
        Security control with mechanism key* OFF This function makes it possible to cancel the security alarm with the mechanical key. ON or OFF Main Body ECU (Multiplex Network Body ECU)

        • *: w/o Wireless Door Lock Buzzer Answer Back Function and w/ Smart Entry and Start System

      6. Enter the following menus: Body / Main Body / Utility / Customize / Wireless Door Lock.

      7. Select the setting by referring to the table below.

        Wireless Door Lock
        Display Default Content Setting Relevant ECU
        Panic Function* ON This function operates the theft deterrent system when the panic switch is pressed and held for 0.8 seconds. ON or OFF Main Body ECU (Multiplex Network Body ECU)
