PUSH-BUTTON START PRECAUTION


  1. PRECAUTION FOR DISCONNECTING CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal, initialize the following system after the cable is reconnected.

  2. PRECAUTIONS WHEN USING GTS


    1. When using the GTS with the engine switch off to troubleshoot the push-button start:

      Connect the GTS to the DLC3 and turn a door courtesy light on and off at 1.5-second or less intervals until communication between the GTS and vehicle begins (the GTS screen changes when communication begins).

      1. Certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly)

      2. Steering lock ECU (steering lock actuator assembly)

      3. Electrical key transmitter sub-assembly
