INSPECTION PROCEDURE

Note

Inspect the fuse for circuits related to this system before performing the following inspection procedure.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (CLEARANCE WARNING ECU ASSEMBLY POWER SOURCE)


    1. Disconnect the I82 connector from the clearance warning ECU assembly.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) is the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      I82-1 (IG) - Body ground Ignition switch ON 11 to 14 V
      I82-1 (IG) - Body ground Ignition switch off Below 1 V

    NG

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

    OK

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (CLEARANCE WARNING ECU ASSEMBLY - BODY GROUND)


    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      I82-30 (E) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

    OK
