AMPLIFIER ANTENNA (for TMC, TMMR Made) INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL AMPLIFIER ANTENNA ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the amplifier antenna assembly with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      7.0 N*m  { 71 kgf*cm, 62 in.*lbf }

    2. Connect the 4 connectors and engage the clamp.

  2. INSTALL ROOF SIDE INNER GARNISH RH

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side Click here.

  3. INSTALL REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH RH (for Reclining Seat Type)

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side Click here.

  4. INSTALL REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP RH

      *1 Alignment Mark (Blue)

      Align the alignment mark (Blue) on the weatherstrip with the protruding portion on the body indicated by the arrow in the illustration, and install the rear door opening trim weatherstrip RH.

      Note

      After installation, check that the corners fit correctly.

  5. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH (for Reclining Seat Type)

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side Click here.

  6. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY RH (for Reclining Seat Type)


    1. Place the rear seatback assembly RH in the cabin.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

    2. Install the rear seatback assembly RH with the 2 bolts and 2 nuts.

      Torque:
      18 N*m  { 184 kgf*cm, 13 ft.*lbf }

    3. Engage the 2 hooks to install the cover.

    4. Connect the rear seat belt to the rear seat shoulder belt guide.

    5. w/ Rear Seat Side Airbag:


      1. Connect each connector and clamp to the child restraint anchor bracket sub-assembly RH.

  7. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK COVER (for Reclining Seat Type)


    1. Engage the 4 claws to install the 2 rear seatback covers.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  8. INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY (for Reclining Seat Type)

  9. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION LOCK HOOK (for Reclining Seat Type)


    1. B000HKU

      Engage the 2 claws to install a new rear seat cushion lock hook as shown in the illustration.

      Note

      Rear seat cushion lock hooks must not be reused.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  10. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY (for Reclining Seat Type)


    1. Place the rear seat cushion assembly in the cabin.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

    2. Pass the 2 rear seat inner belt assemblies through the rear seat cushion assembly.

    3. Connect the 2 seat heater connectors.

      Engage the 2 rear seat cushion frame hooks on the front side of the rear seat cushion assembly to the 2 rear seat cushion lock hooks as shown in the illustration.

    5. Confirm that the rear seat cushion assembly is securely installed.

      Note

      When installing the rear seat cushion assembly, make sure that the seat belt buckles are not under the rear seat cushion assembly.

  11. INSTALL REAR SIDE SEATBACK ASSEMBLY RH (for Fold Down Seat Type)


    1. Place the rear side seatback assembly RH in the cabin.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

    2. Engage the hook to install the rear side seatback assembly RH with the bolt.

      Torque:
      18 N*m  { 184 kgf*cm, 13 ft.*lbf }

    3. Connect the rear seat outer belt assembly to the rear seat shoulder belt guide RH.

  12. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION LOCK HOOK (for Fold Down Seat Type)


    1. B000HKU

      Engage the 2 claws to install a new rear seat cushion lock hook as shown in the illustration.

      Note

      Rear seat cushion lock hooks must not be reused.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  13. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY (for Fold Down Seat Type)


    1. Place the rear seat cushion assembly in the cabin.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

    2. w/ Seat Heater System:


      1. Engage the 2 clamps.

      2. Connect the connector.

    3. B000LR0

      Engage the 2 hooks of the rear seat cushion assembly to the vehicle body as shown in the illustration.

    4. Confirm that the rear seat cushion assembly is firmly installed.

      Note

      When installing the rear seat cushion assembly, make sure that the seat belt buckles are not under the rear seat cushion assembly.

  16. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL (w/ Rear Seat Side Airbag)
