DESCRIPTION
This DTC does not indicate a malfunction. The power steering ECU assembly stores this DTC when it determines that torque sensor zero point calibration has not been performed.

If the electric power steering column sub-assembly has been replaced with a new one, perform torque sensor zero point calibration Click here.
If the power steering ECU assembly has been replaced with a new one, perform assist map writing and torque sensor zero point calibration Click here.

Calibrate the torque sensor zero point (step 1) Click here.
Check for DTCs (step 2) Click here.
Tech Tips
If DTCs are output, perform steps 1 and 2 two more times.
