REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY (for TMC, TMMR Made) ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION


  1. INSPECT REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH

      Front view of wire harness connector

      (to Rear Light Assembly LH)

      Disconnect the connector from the rear light assembly LH.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      T7-1 (B) - T7-3 (E) Engine started and the shift lever not in R Below 1 V
      Engine started and the shift lever in R 11 to 14 V
      T7-2 (B) - T7-3 (E) Light control switch off Below 1 V
      Light control switch in tail position 11 to 14 V
      T7-4 (B)*1 - T7-3 (E) Light control switch in tail position, rear fog light switch off Below 1 V
      Light control switch in tail position, rear fog light switch on 11 to 14 V

      *1: w/ Rear Fog Light

      If the result is not as specified, repair or replace the wire harness or connector.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      T1-1 (B) - T1-3 (E) Engine started and the shift lever not in R Below 1 V
      Engine started and the shift lever in R 11 to 14 V
      T1-2 (B) - T1-3 (E) Light control switch off Below 1 V
      Light control switch in tail position 11 to 14 V
      T1-4 (B)*1 - T1-3 (E) Light control switch in tail position, rear fog light switch off Below 1 V
      Light control switch in tail position, rear fog light switch on 11 to 14 V

      *1: w/ Rear Fog Light

      If the result is not as specified, repair or replace the wire harness or connector.
