  1. INSPECT HEADLIGHT SWIVEL MAIN SWITCH (AFS OFF SWITCH)

      Component without harness connected

      (Headlight Swivel Main Switch (AFS OFF Switch))

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      1 - 4 Not pushed (OFF) 10 kΩ or higher
      Pushed (ON) Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the headlight swivel main switch (AFS OFF switch).

    2. Connect a positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 3 and a negative (-) lead to terminal 2.

    3. Check that the illumination of the switch comes on.

      OK
      The illumination comes on.

      If the result is not as specified, replace the headlight swivel main switch (AFS OFF switch).
