COOLING FAN MOTOR ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION


  1. CHECK COOLING FAN MOTOR (for TMC, TMMR Made)


    1. Disconnect the cooling fan motor connector.

      Check that the cooling fan motor operates smoothly when the battery is connected to the cooling fan motor connector.

    3. Measure the current while the cooling fan motor is operating.

      Standard Current
      Condition Specified Condition
      Battery voltage applied at 20°C (68°F) 5.8 to 7.4 A

      If the result is not as specified, replace the cooling fan motor.

    4. Connect the cooling fan motor connector.

  2. CHECK COOLING FAN MOTOR (for TMMK Made)


    1. Disconnect the cooling fan motor connector.
