PCV VALVE REMOVAL


  1. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Disengage the 3 grommets to remove the No. 1 engine cover sub-assembly.

      Note

      When removing the No. 1 engine cover sub-assembly, make sure to lift it upward. Pulling the No. 1 engine cover sub-assembly towards you may damage the No. 1 engine cover sub-assembly.

  2. DISCONNECT NO. 2 VENTILATION HOSE

      Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 2 ventilation hose from the PCV valve (ventilation valve sub-assembly).

  3. REMOVE PCV VALVE (VENTILATION VALVE SUB-ASSEMBLY)

      Using a 19 mm deep socket wrench, remove the PCV valve (ventilation valve sub-assembly) from the cylinder head cover sub-assembly.
