FUEL PUMP REASSEMBLY


  1. INSTALL FUEL PUMP

      *1 O-ring
      *2 Fuel Pump Spacer

      Apply gasoline to a new O-ring. Then install the O-ring and fuel pump spacer to the fuel pump.

    2. Engage the 5 claws to install the fuel pump to the fuel filter.

      Note


      • Make sure that the O-ring is not cut or pinched during the installation.


      • Engage the claws securely.


      • Do not remove the suction filter.

    3. Connect the fuel pump harness connector to install the fuel pump harness to the fuel pump.

  2. INSTALL NO. 1 FUEL SUCTION SUPPORT


    1. Engage the 2 claws to install the No. 1 fuel suction support to the fuel filter.

  3. INSTALL LOWER FUEL TANK CASE SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the spring to the shaft of the fuel suction plate sub-assembly and install it to the lower fuel tank case sub-assembly.

    2. Engage the 4 claws of the No. 1 fuel suction support and install the lower fuel tank case sub- assembly to the fuel suction plate sub-assembly with the fuel filter.

    3. Install a new E-ring.

    4. Connect the fuel pump harness to the fuel suction plate sub-assembly.

    5. Connect the fuel pump harness connector.

  4. INSTALL FUEL SENDER GAUGE ASSEMBLY


    1. B000HV2E01

      Slide the fuel sender gauge assembly downward and engage the claw (A) to install the fuel sender gauge assembly.

      Note


      • Do not touch the resistance plate or contacts of the fuel sender gauge assembly.

      • Be careful not to bend the arm of the fuel sender gauge assembly.

    2. Connect the fuel sender gauge assembly connector.
