VALVE BODY ASSEMBLY REASSEMBLY


  1. INSTALL SHIFT SOLENOID VALVE SL4


    1. Coat the shift solenoid valve SL4 with ATF.

      *2 Shift Solenoid Valve SL4

      Install the shift solenoid valve SL4 and No. 4 solenoid lock plate to the transmission valve body assembly with the bolt.

      Torque:
      10.8 N*m  { 110 kgf*cm, 8 ft.*lbf }

  2. INSTALL SHIFT SOLENOID VALVE SL3


    1. Coat the shift solenoid valve SL3 with ATF.

      *2 Shift Solenoid Valve SL3

      Install the shift solenoid valve SL3 and No. 3 solenoid lock plate to the transmission valve body assembly with the bolt.

      Torque:
      10.8 N*m  { 110 kgf*cm, 8 ft.*lbf }

  3. INSTALL SHIFT SOLENOID VALVE SLU


    1. Coat the shift solenoid valve SLU with ATF.

      Install the shift solenoid valve SLU to the transmission valve body assembly.

  4. INSTALL SHIFT SOLENOID VALVE SLT


    1. Coat the shift solenoid valve SLT with ATF.

      *2 Shift Solenoid Valve SLT

      Install the shift solenoid valve SLT and solenoid lock plate to the transmission valve body assembly with the bolt.

      Torque:
      10.8 N*m  { 110 kgf*cm, 8 ft.*lbf }

  5. INSTALL SHIFT SOLENOID VALVE SL1


    1. Coat the shift solenoid valve SL1 with ATF.

      Install the shift solenoid valve SL1 to the transmission valve body assembly.

  6. INSTALL SHIFT SOLENOID VALVE SL2


    1. Coat the shift solenoid valve SL2 with ATF.

      *3 Shift Solenoid Valve SL2

      Install the shift solenoid valve SL2, clamp and No. 2 solenoid lock plate to the transmission valve body assembly with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      10.8 N*m  { 110 kgf*cm, 8 ft.*lbf }

  7. INSTALL SHIFT SOLENOID VALVE SL


    1. Coat the shift solenoid valve SL with ATF.

      Install the shift solenoid valve SL to the transmission valve body assembly with the bolt.

      Torque:
      10.8 N*m  { 110 kgf*cm, 8 ft.*lbf }

  8. INSTALL TRANSMISSION WIRE


    1. Install the transmission wire and lock plate to the transmission valve body assembly with the bolt.

      Torque:
      10.8 N*m  { 110 kgf*cm, 8 ft.*lbf }

    2. Coat the temperature sensor with ATF.

    3. Connect the temperature sensor and install the lock plate with the bolt to the transmission valve body assembly.

      Torque:
      10.8 N*m  { 110 kgf*cm, 8 ft.*lbf }

    4. Engage the clamp.

    5. Connect the 7 shift solenoid valve connectors.

    6. Connect the transmission revolution sensor connector.

  9. INSTALL TRANSMISSION REVOLUTION SENSOR


    1. B000M73E03

      Temporarily install the transmission revolution sensor to the transmission valve body assembly with the 2 bolts.

      Note

      Do not use a transmission revolution sensor that has been dropped.

    2. Tighten the 2 bolts in the order shown in the illustration.

      Torque:
      10.8 N*m  { 110 kgf*cm, 8 ft.*lbf }

    3. Connect the transmission revolution sensor connector.
