TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE REMOVAL


  1. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Lift the rear of the engine cover to detach the cover from the 2 pins, and then lift the front of the engine cover to detach the cover from the pin and remove the engine cover.

      Note

      Attempting to disengage both front and rear clips at the same time may cause the No. 1 engine cover sub-assembly to break.

  2. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL (for TMC, TMMR Made)

      Remove the 9 clips and cool air intake duct seal.

  3. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL (for TMMK Made)

      Remove the 9 clips and cool air intake duct seal.

  4. REMOVE INLET AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 2 bolts and inlet air cleaner assembly.

  5. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Disconnect the vacuum switching valve assembly from the air cleaner hose.

    2. B000ILW

      Disconnect the mass air flow meter connector and 2 wire harness clamps from the air cleaner cap sub-assembly.

    3. B000NHN

      Separate the fuel vapor feed hose from the air cleaner hose.

    4. B000LAA

      Disconnect the ventilation hose from the cylinder head cover.

    5. B000KT6

      Loosen the hose clamp and disconnect the air cleaner hose from the throttle with motor body assembly.

    6. B000NMO

      Release the 2 clamps and remove the air cleaner cap sub-assembly.

  6. REMOVE AIR CLEANER FILTER ELEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY

  7. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CASE SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. B000MVL

      Disconnect the wire harness clamp.

    2. Remove the 2 bolts and air cleaner case sub-assembly.

  8. REMOVE AIR BAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY (for TMMK Made)

  9. REMOVE AIR BAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY (for TMC, TMMR Made)

  10. REMOVE ACCELERATOR PEDAL SENSOR ASSEMBLY (for LHD)

  11. DISCONNECT NO. 1 PARKING BRAKE CABLE ASSEMBLY (for LHD)


    1. Turn back the floor carpet.

      Remove the bolt and nut, and disconnect the No. 1 parking brake cable assembly.

  12. REMOVE TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY (for LHD)


    1. Move the shift lever to N.

    2. B000K75

      Disconnect the end of the transmission control cable assembly from the lower shift lever assembly.

    3. Disengage the 2 claws and disconnect the transmission control cable assembly from the lower shift lever assembly.

      Disconnect the wire harness clamp.

    5. B000MZZ

      Remove the nut and clip, and disconnect the transmission control cable assembly.

    6. B000KJJ

      Turn back the dash panel insulator.

    7. Remove the 2 bolts and pull out the transmission control cable assembly from the body.

  13. REMOVE TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY (for RHD)


    1. Move the shift lever to N.

    2. B000H60

      Disconnect the end of the transmission control cable assembly from the lower shift lever assembly.

    3. Disengage the 2 claws and disconnect the transmission control cable assembly from the lower shift lever assembly.

    4. B000ML5

      Disconnect the wire harness clamp.

    5. B000MZZ

      Remove the nut and clip, and disconnect the transmission control cable assembly.

    6. Turn back the floor carpet.

      Remove the bolt and disconnect the No. 1 parking brake cable assembly.

    8. Turn back the dash panel insulator.

    9. Remove the 2 bolts and pull out the transmission control cable assembly from the body.
