CRUISE CONTROL SYSTEM Cruise SET Indicator Light Circuit

DESCRIPTION

• The ECM turns on the SET indicator by sending indicator output demand signals to the combination meter assembly using CAN communication.

• The cruise control SET indicator illuminates when the cruise control system is controlling vehicle speed.

• The cruise control indicator circuit uses CAN communication. If the cruise control indicator is not functioning correctly, check for CAN communication DTCs before troubleshooting this circuit.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING GTS (METER DISPLAY 1)

   
   

   1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

   2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

   3. Turn the GTS on.

   4. Enter the following menus: Body / Combination Meter / Active Test.

   5. Perform the Active Test according to the display on the GTS.

      Result Proceed to The multi-information display in the combination meter assembly turns on or off according to the operation of the Active Test.    1. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Cruise Control / Data List.

   2. Read the Data List according to the display on the GTS.
