LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR OUTSIDE GARNISH REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH

  2. REMOVE REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  3. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR OUTSIDE GARNISH SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Disconnect the connector.

    2. A01TD9J

      Remove the 5 nuts.

    3. A01TCVXC01
      A01TCKT Protective Tape

      Apply protective tape around the luggage compartment door outside garnish sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

    4. Disengage the clip to remove the luggage compartment door outside garnish sub-assembly.

    5. Remove the clip from the luggage compartment door outside garnish sub-assembly.

    6. w/ Gasket:


      1. Remove the 5 gaskets from the luggage compartment door outside garnish sub-assembly.

  4. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR OPENING SWITCH ASSEMBLY

      Remove the luggage compartment door opening switch assembly.

  5. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR OUTSIDE GARNISH PROTECTOR


    1. Remove the luggage compartment door outside garnish protector.

  6. REMOVE NO. 2 BACK DOOR GARNISH RETAINER (for Type B)


    1. w/o Rear View Monitor System:


      1. A01TD0Y

        Disengage the 2 claws to remove the No. 2 back door garnish retainer.

  7. REMOVE NO. 2 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR OUTSIDE GARNISH (for Type B)


    1. Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Disengage the 4 claws and 4 guides to remove the No. 2 luggage compartment door outside garnish.
