  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure described below is for the LH side.

PROCEDURE


  1. PRECAUTION (w/ Power Window)

    Note

    After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL (w/ Power Window)

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

  3. REMOVE REAR ARMREST ASSEMBLY

  4. REMOVE REAR DOOR WINDOW REGULATOR HANDLE ASSEMBLY (w/o Power Window)

  5. REMOVE REAR DOOR ARMREST UPPER BASE PANEL (w/o Power Window)

  6. REMOVE REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY WITH REAR DOOR ARMREST BASE PANEL (w/ Power Window)

  7. REMOVE REAR DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY

  8. REMOVE REAR DOOR INNER GLASS WEATHERSTRIP

  9. REMOVE REAR DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER

  10. DISCONNECT REAR DOOR WEATHERSTRIP

      Using a clip remover, disengage the clip and disconnect the rear door weatherstrip.

  11. REMOVE REAR DOOR GLASS RUN

  12. REMOVE REAR DOOR LOWER WINDOW FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY

  13. REMOVE REAR DOOR QUARTER WINDOW GLASS

  15. REMOVE REAR DOOR BELT MOULDING ASSEMBLY


    1. for Resin Type:


      1. B004413C01
        *a Protective Tape
        B0042RQ Protective Tape

        Put protective tape around the rear door belt moulding assembly.

      2. Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the 6 claws (A) as shown in the illustration.

        Tech Tips

        Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

      3. Disengage the 2 claws (B) to remove the rear door belt moulding assembly.

    2. for Plating Type:

        *a Protective Tape
        B0042RQ Protective Tape

        Put protective tape around the rear door belt moulding assembly.

      2. Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the 6 claws (A) as shown in the illustration.

        Tech Tips

        Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

      3. Disengage the claw (B) and guide to remove the rear door belt moulding assembly.
