FRONT BUMPER(for Hatchback, Wagon) REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE FRONT SPOILER PROTECTOR

  2. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY


    1. A01M2A7C01
      A01M1XR Protective Tape

      Apply protective tape around the front bumper assembly as shown in the illustration.

    2. A01LW0NC03
      *1 Pin Hold Clip
      *a 90°

      Using a screwdriver, turn the pin 90 degrees and remove the pin hold clip.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    3. Remove the clip.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    4. A01LUXE

      Remove the 6 screws.

    5. A01M143

      Disengage the 3 claws as shown in the illustration.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    6. w/ Fog Light:


      1. Pull back the side of the front bumper assembly and disconnect the 2 fog light connectors.

        Note

        Do not apply excessive force when pulling back the side of the front bumper assembly.

    7. A01LZ4Y

      Remove the bolt.

    8. Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips.

    9. w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System:


      1. Disconnect the ultrasonic sensor connector.

    10. w/ Headlight Cleaner System:


      1. Disconnect the headlight cleaner hose and drain the washer fluid.

        Tech Tips

        Use a container to collect the washer fluid.

    11. Remove the front bumper assembly as shown in the illustration.
