DESCRIPTION

Each swivel motor receives operation signals from the AFS ECU (headlight swivel ECU assembly) and sends signals indicating the direction of the headlight and condition of the headlight swivel motor to the AFS ECU (headlight swivel ECU assembly).

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (AFS ECU (HEADLIGHT SWIVEL ECU ASSEMBLY) - HEADLIGHT UNIT)


    1. Disconnect the A93 AFS ECU (headlight swivel ECU assembly) connector.

    2. Disconnect the A90 headlight unit LH connector and A123 headlight unit RH connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      LH Side (B2412 and B2417)
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      A93-1 (SMBL) - A90-10 (LHB1) Always Below 1 Ω
      A93-27 (LL1-) - A90-5 (LH E) Always Below 1 Ω
      A93-1 (SMBL) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      A93-27 (LL1-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      Standard Resistance
      RH Side (B2413 and B2418)
