  1. AUTOMATIC HIGH BEAM SYSTEM


    1. The main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) operates in fail-safe mode if an abnormal condition such as those listed below has been detected.

      LIN Communication Signal Malfunction Normal LIN communication signal is not detected.
      • Normal LIN communication signal is detected.

      • Ignition switch is turned from off to ON

      Comes on "CHECK AHB SYSTEM" message is indicated
      Vehicle Information Vehicle information is not stored in AFS ECU (headlight swivel ECU assembly)
      • Vehicle information is stored in AFS ECU (headlight swivel ECU assembly)

      • Vehicle information (destination, LHD/RHD, type of headlights) stored in the automatic high beam sensor (inner rear view mirror assembly) matches that sent from each ECU.

      Comes on "CHECK AHB SYSTEM" message is indicated
      Automatic High Beam Sensor Communication stopped. Normal communication signal is detected. Comes on "CHECK AHB SYSTEM" message is indicated
      Speed Sensor Signal Malfunction Abnormal speed sensor signal is detected. Normal speed sensor signal is detected. Comes on "CHECK AHB SYSTEM" message is indicated
      CAN Communication Signal Malfunction Normal CAN communication signal is not detected. Normal CAN communication signal is detected. Comes on "CHECK AHB SYSTEM" message is indicated
