DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when the headlight leveling ECU assembly detects a malfunction in the rear height control sensor sub-assembly power source circuit or rear height control sensor sub-assembly.

If either of the following is performed, initialization of the headlight leveling ECU assembly is necessary.

  • Replacement of the headlight leveling ECU assembly.

  • Replacement or removal/installation of the rear height control sensor sub-assembly or work that changes the vehicle height such as replacement of suspension components.

  1. CHECK FOR DTC


    1. Clear the DTCs.

    2. Check for DTCs.

      Click here

      DTC B2416 is not output.

  2. READ VALUE USING GTS


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / HL AutoLeveling / Data List.

    5. Read the Data List according to the display on the GTS.

  4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (HEADLIGHT LEVELING ECU ASSEMBLY - REAR HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR SUB-ASSEMBLY)


    1. Disconnect the A182 headlight leveling ECU assembly connector.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      A182-12 (SBR) - M1-3 (SHB) Always Below 1 Ω
      A182-21 (SGR) - M1-1 (SHG) Always Below 1 Ω
      A182-12 (SBR) or M1-3 (SHB) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
