LIGHTING SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM


  1. DESCRIPTION


    1. Lighting system data and Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) can be read from the Data Link Connector 3 (DLC3) of the vehicle. When the system seems to be malfunctioning, use the GTS to check for malfunctions and perform repairs.

  2. CHECK DLC3


    1. Check the DLC3.

  3. INSPECT BATTERY VOLTAGE


    1. Measure the battery voltage.

      If the voltage is below 11 V, recharge or replace the battery.

    2. DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM (for LED Headlight)


      1. If the LED headlight system malfunctions, a warning message will be displayed on the multi-information display.

        Tech Tips


        • If a malfunction is detected the headlight swivel ECU assembly stores DTCs.

        • As the LED headlight system performs a self check when the ignition switch is turned to ON, even if the system returns to normal, a warning message will be displayed on the multi-information display until the ignition switch is turned off and then back ON.
