HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY(for Hatchback, Wagon) INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY (for LHD)

   
   

   1. Pass the hood lock control cable assembly into the engine compartment.

   2. Pass the cable through the upper radiator support.

   3. Engage the hood lock control cable assembly to the 4 clamps and grommet.

   4. Connect the hood lock control cable assembly.

2. INSTALL HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY (for RHD)

   
   

   1. Pass the hood lock control cable assembly into the engine compartment.

   2. Pass the cable through the upper radiator support.

   3. Engage the hood lock control cable assembly to the 4 clamps and grommet.

   4. Connect the hood lock control cable assembly.

3. INSTALL HOOD LOCK CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. Connect the hood lock control cable assembly and install the hood lock control lever sub-assembly.

4. CONNECT HOOD LOCK CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

5. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (for LHD)

   
   

   1. w/ Instrument Panel Under Cover:

6. INSTALL COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD LH (for LHD)

   Click here

7. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH (for LHD)

   Click here

8. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (for RHD)

   
   

   1. w/ Instrument Panel Under Cover:

9. INSTALL COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD RH (for RHD)
