HOOD(for Hatchback, Wagon) REASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL HOOD MOULDING CLIP


    1. A01LXGO

      Engage the 2 claws and install the hood moulding clip.

  2. CONNECT WASHER HOSE ASSEMBLY


    1. A01M1GQ

      Engage the 6 clamps to connect the washer hose assembly.

  3. INSTALL WASHER NOZZLE SUB-ASSEMBLY

  4. INSPECT WASHER NOZZLE SUB-ASSEMBLY

  5. ADJUST WASHER NOZZLE SUB-ASSEMBLY

  6. INSTALL HOOD TO RADIATOR SUPPORT SEAL (w/ Hood To Radiator Support Seal)


    1. A01M19K

      Engage the 6 hood to cowl top seal clips to install the hood to radiator support seal.

  7. INSTALL HOOD INSULATOR (w/ Hood Insulator)


    1. A01M0FJ

      Engage the guide.

    2. Install the hood insulator with 6 new hood insulator clips.

  8. INSTALL HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY


    1. A01LZ21

      Apply MP grease to the sliding areas of the lock.

    2. w/o Engine Hood Courtesy Switch:


      1. A01M14Z

        Install the hood lock assembly with the 3 bolts.

        Torque:
        7.5 N*m  { 76 kgf*cm, 66 in.*lbf }

    3. w/ Engine Hood Courtesy Switch:


      1. A01LV3F

        Install the hood lock assembly with the 3 bolts.

        Torque:
        7.5 N*m  { 76 kgf*cm, 66 in.*lbf }

      2. Connect the connector.

    4. for LHD:


      1. A01LUVA

        Connect the hood lock control cable assembly.

    5. for RHD:


      1. A01M14I

        Connect the hood lock control cable assembly.

    6. w/ Bracket:


      1. A01M23I

        Engage the guide.

      2. Connect the No. 1 water hose clamp bracket with the 2 bolts.

        Torque:
        5.0 N*m  { 51 kgf*cm, 44 in.*lbf }

  9. ADJUST HOOD SUB-ASSEMBLY
