POWER WINDOW CONTROL SYSTEM(for Models with Jam Protection Function on Driver Door Window Only) Power Windows do not Operate Using All Window Switch

DESCRIPTION

The power windows operate by using the power window regulator master switch assembly or power window regulator switch assembly.

The power window regulator master switch assembly and power window regulator switch assembly connect the same power supply and ground lines.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER WINDOW MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)


    1. Disconnect the H11*1 or G11*2 power window regulator master switch assembly connector.


      • *1: for LHD

      • *2: for RHD

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      H11-15 (B) - Body ground Ignition switch ON 11 to 14 V
      for RHD
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      G11-15 (B) - Body ground Ignition switch ON 11 to 14 V
      Standard Resistance
      for LHD
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      H11-7 (E) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
      for RHD
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      G11-7 (E) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
