POWER WINDOW CONTROL SYSTEM(for Models with Jam Protection Function on Driver Door Window Only) Remote Up / Down Function does not Operate

DESCRIPTION

When the ignition switch is ON, the power window regulator master switch assembly sends remote up and down signals to power window regulator switch assembly. Then, the power window regulator switch assembly drives each door window regulator assembly.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY (WINDOW LOCK SWITCH)


    1. Turn the window lock switch off and operate the switches on the power window regulator master switch assembly. Check that the remote UP/DOWN function operates normally.

      OK
      Remote UP/DOWN function operates normally.

  2. CHECK POWER WINDOW CONTROL SYSTEM (USING POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY)


    1. Check front passenger door power window operation by using the power window regulator switch assembly.

      OK
      Only front passenger door power window operates normally by using power window regulator switch assembly.
      Result
