CONDENSER(except 1AD-FTV) ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT CONDENSER WITH RECEIVER ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. If the condenser with receiver assembly fins are dirty, clean them with water and dry with compressed air.

      Note

      Do not damage the condenser with receiver assembly fins.

   2. If any condenser with receiver assembly fins are bent, straighten them using a screwdriver or pliers.

2. INSPECT FOR REFRIGERANT LEAK

   
   

   1. Using a halogen leak detector, check pipe joints for refrigerant leaks.

   2. If a refrigerant leak is detected in a joint, check the torque of the joint.
