ROOM TEMPERATURE SENSOR REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

1. PRECAUTION

   Note

   After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL (for LHD with Entry and Start System)

   Note

   When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

3. REMOVE LOWER NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL (except Sedan)

4. REMOVE CENTER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (except Sedan)

5. REMOVE NO. 1 METER HOOD CLUSTER (except Sedan)

   Click here

6. REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL ASSEMBLY (except Sedan)

7. REMOVE NO. 1 SWITCH HOLE BASE (except Sedan)

   for LHD:

8. REMOVE LOWER NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL (for Sedan)

9. REMOVE LOWER CENTER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Sedan)

10. REMOVE NO. 1 METER HOOD CLUSTER (for Sedan)

11. REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL ASSEMBLY (for Sedan)

12. REMOVE NO. 1 SWITCH HOLE BASE (for Sedan)

    for LHD:

13. REMOVE COOLER (ROOM TEMP. SENSOR) THERMISTOR

    
    

    1. 

       Disengage the 2 claws.

    2. 

       Disconnect the connector and aspirator to remove the cooler (room temp. sensor) thermistor.
