COMPRESSOR(for 1ZR-FE, 1ZR-FAE) REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. RECOVER REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM

  2. REMOVE V-RIBBED BELT (for 1ZR-FAE)

  3. REMOVE V-RIBBED BELT (for 1ZR-FE)

    Click here

  4. DISCONNECT DISCHARGE HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Remove the bolt and disconnect the discharge hose sub-assembly from the compressor assembly with pulley.

    2. Remove the O-ring from the discharge hose sub-assembly.

      Note

      Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent entry of moisture and foreign matter.

  5. DISCONNECT SUCTION HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A01LYU6

      Remove the bolt and disconnect the suction hose sub-assembly from the compressor assembly with pulley.

    2. Remove the O-ring from the suction hose sub-assembly.

      Note

      Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent entry of moisture and foreign matter.

  6. REMOVE COMPRESSOR ASSEMBLY WITH PULLEY


    1. A01LZAF

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Disengage the clamp.

    3. A01LZS3C01
      A01M03W Bolt
      A01LZQW Nut

      Remove the 2 bolts and 2 nuts.

    4. A01LXKP

      Using an E8 "TORX" socket, remove the 2 stud bolts.

    5. Remove the compressor assembly with pulley.
