REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY(for Hatchback) INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION LOCK HOOK


    1. A01LX4X

      Engage the 2 claws to install the rear seat cushion lock hook as shown in the illustration.

      Note

      If the rear seat cushion lock hook is deteriorated or damaged, replace it with a new one.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  2. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Place the rear seatback assembly LH in the cabin.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

    2. Install the rear seatback assembly LH with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      37 N*m  { 377 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*lbf }

    3. Install the 2 clips.

  3. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY RH


    1. Place the rear seatback assembly RH in the cabin.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

    2. Install the rear seatback assembly RH with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      37 N*m  { 377 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*lbf }

    3. Install the 2 clips.

  4. INSTALL REAR SEAT INNER WITH CENTER BELT ASSEMBLY RH

      *a Protruding Part

      Install the rear seat inner with center belt assembly RH and rear center seat outer belt assembly as a set with the bolt.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

      Note


      • Install the rear seat inner with center belt assembly RH with the arrow on the anchor part facing the front of the vehicle.


      • Do not allow the anchor part of the rear seat inner with center belt assembly RH to overlap the protruding parts of the floor panel.

    2. Connect the connector.

  5. INSTALL REAR SEAT CENTER HEADREST ASSEMBLY (w/ Center Headrest)

  6. INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY

  7. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY


    1. Place the rear seat cushion assembly in the cabin.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

      *a Rear Side of Rear Seat Cushion Frame Hook
      *b Rear Seatback Hinge Hook
      *c Front Side of Rear Seat Cushion Frame Hook

      Pass the 2 rear seat inner belts through the slit of the rear seat cushion assembly as shown in the illustration.

    3. Engage the hook on the rear side of the rear seat cushion frame hook to the rear seatback hinge hook.

    4. Engage the 2 hooks on the front side of the rear seat cushion frame hooks to the rear seat cushion lock hooks as shown in the illustration.

    5. Confirm that the rear seat cushion assembly is securely installed.
