REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY(for Sedan) REASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL BENCH TYPE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER


    1. Temporarily install the bench type rear seat cushion cover to the bench type rear seat cushion pad.

    2. Using hog ring pliers, install 12 new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the bench type rear seat cushion cover.

      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the bench type rear seat cushion cover.

    3. Using hog ring pliers, install the bench type rear seat cushion cover with 27 new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the bench type rear seat cushion cover.

      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the bench type rear seat cushion cover.

  2. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK LOCK ASSEMBLY RH (for RH Side)


    1. A012FXO

      Install the rear seatback lock assembly RH with the 2 nuts.

      Torque:
      31 N*m  { 316 kgf*cm, 23 ft.*lbf }

  3. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER RH (for RH Side)


    1. Temporarily install the separate type rear seatback cover RH to the separate type rear seatback pad RH.

    2. w/o Center Armrest:


      1. A012MPJ

        Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type rear seatback cover RH to the separate type rear seatback pad RH with 11 new hog rings.

        Note


        • Be careful not to damage the separate type rear seatback cover RH.

        • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the separate type rear seatback cover RH.

    3. w/ Center Armrest:


      1. A012L2S

        Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type rear seatback cover RH to the separate type rear seatback pad RH with 17 new hog rings.

        Note


        • Be careful not to damage the separate type rear seatback cover RH.

        • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the separate type rear seatback cover RH.

  4. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD (for RH Side)


    1. Temporarily install the seatback cover with pad to the rear seatback frame sub-assembly.

    2. A012FZU

      Engage the 4 claws to install the 2 rear seat center headrest supports.

    3. A012HKB

      Engage the 4 claws to install the 2 rear seat headrest supports.

    4. A012KOY

      Using hog ring pliers, install 7 new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the separate type rear seatback cover with pad.

      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the separate type rear seatback cover with pad.

    5. A012J9L

      Close the fastener as shown in the illustration.

    6. A012HOB

      Engage the 4 fasteners as shown in the illustration.

    7. A012MJX

      Install the separate type rear seatback cover with pad with the 3 clips.

  5. INSTALL REAR SEAT SHOULDER BELT GUIDE RH (for RH Side)


    1. A012FYN

      Engage the guide.

    2. Install the rear seat shoulder belt guide RH with the screw.

  6. INSTALL REAR SEAT CENTER SHOULDER BELT GUIDE (for RH Side)


    1. A012G5W

      Engage the guide.

    2. Install the rear seat center shoulder belt guide with the screw.

  7. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK LOCK RELEASE BUTTON (for RH Side)


    1. A012JUN

      Install the rear seatback lock release button as shown in the illustration.

  8. INSTALL REAR SEAT CENTER ARMREST ASSEMBLY (for RH Side)


    1. w/ Center Armrest:


      1. A012LHB

        Install the bush as shown in the illustration.

      2. A012G4QN01

        Engage the guide as indicated by the arrows, in the order shown in the illustration.

      3. A012HGS

        Install the rear seat center armrest assembly with the bush and bolt.

        Torque:
        6.0 N*m  { 61 kgf*cm, 53 in.*lbf }

  9. INSTALL CENTER ARMREST HINGE COVER (for RH Side)


    1. A012JC3

      w/ Center Armrest:


      1. Engage the claw to install the center armrest hinge cover as shown in the illustration.

  10. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK LOCK ASSEMBLY LH (for LH Side)


    1. A012LMM

      Install the rear seatback lock assembly LH with the 2 nuts.

      Torque:
      31 N*m  { 316 kgf*cm, 23 ft.*lbf }

  11. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER LH (for LH Side)


    1. Temporarily install the separate type rear seatback cover LH to the separate type rear seatback pad LH.

    2. A012JCS

      Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type rear seatback cover LH to the separate type rear seatback pad LH with 7 new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the separate type rear seatback cover LH.

      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the separate type rear seatback cover LH.

  12. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD (for LH Side)


    1. Temporarily install the separate type rear seatback cover with pad to the rear seatback frame sub-assembly.

    2. A012NCN

      Engage the 4 claws to install the 2 rear seat headrest supports.

    3. A012L9Y

      Using hog ring pliers, install 6 new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the separate type rear seatback cover with pad.

      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the separate type rear seatback cover with pad.

    4. A012GLO

      Close the fastener as shown in the illustration.

    5. A012KKS

      Engage the 4 fasteners as shown in the illustration.

    6. A012F57

      Install the separate type rear seatback cover with pad with the 2 clips.

  13. INSTALL REAR SEAT SHOULDER BELT GUIDE LH (for LH Side)


    1. A012MTT

      Engage the guide.

    2. Install the rear seat shoulder belt guide LH with the screw.

  14. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK STOP BUTTON GROMMET (for LH Side)


    1. A012K7K

      Engage the 2 claws to install the rear seatback stop button grommet.

  15. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK LOCK RELEASE BUTTON (for LH Side)


    1. A012LNH

      Install the rear seatback lock release button as shown in the illustration.
