  1. INSPECT PRE-CRASH SYSTEM CANCEL SWITCH ASSEMBLY

      Component without harness connected

      (Pre-crash System Cancel Switch Assembly)

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      4 (ECU) - 1 (E) Pushed Below 25 Ω
      Not pushed 100 kΩ or higher

      If the result is not as specified, replace the pre-crash system cancel switch assembly.

    2. Illumination Inspection


      1. Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the pre-crash system cancel switch assembly and check that the switch illuminates.

        OK
        Condition Specified Condition

        Auxiliary battery positive (+) → Terminal 3 (ILL+)

        Auxiliary battery negative (-) → Terminal 2 (ILL-)

        		 Illuminates

        If the result is not as specified, replace the pre-crash system cancel switch assembly.
