FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY(for Sedan) DISASSEMBLY

  • Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  • The following procedure is for the LH side.

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Driver Seat)

  2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Front Passenger Seat)

    Click here

  3. DISCONNECT SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER


    1. A012GEG

      Disconnect the rubber band of the separate type front seatback cover.

  4. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE

      *a Protective Tape

      Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the claw and remove the reclining adjuster release handle.

  5. REMOVE VERTICAL ADJUSTING HANDLE (w/ Vertical Adjuster)


    1. A012LCY

      Remove the screw and the vertical adjusting handle.

  6. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD (for Driver Side)

      Disengage the 2 claws, 4 guides and 2 clips to remove the front seat cushion shield.

  7. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD (for Front Passenger Side)

      Disengage the 2 claws, 5 guides and 2 clips to remove the front seat cushion shield.

  8. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER CUSHION SHIELD (for Driver Side)

      Disengage the 2 claws and 4 guides to remove the front seat inner cushion shield.

  9. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER CUSHION SHIELD (for Front Passenger Side)

      Disengage the 2 claws and 5 guides to remove the front seat inner cushion shield.

  10. REMOVE LOWER SEAT TRACK SPACER (for Driver Side)


    1. A012HUV

      Disengage the claw and 2 guides to remove the lower seat track spacer.

  11. REMOVE LOWER SEAT TRACK SPACER (for Front Passenger Side)

      Disengage the claw and 2 guides to remove the lower seat track spacer.

  12. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD


    1. w/ Front Seat Side Airbag:


      1. A012NEC

        Disengage the 3 clamps.

      2. Disengage the wire harness guide.

      3. Disengage the claw to separate the front seat airbag assembly wire harness.

      4. A012G80

        Pass the rubber band to separate the front seat airbag assembly wire harness.

    2. A012FKK

      Disengage the 2 hooks.

    3. w/ Seat Heater System:


      1. A012KQU

        Disengage the clamp.

      2. Disconnect the front seatback heater connector.

      3. A012FFF

        Disengage the 3 clamps.

      4. Disengage the wire harness guide.

      5. Disengage the claw to separate the front seat cushion heater wire harness.

    4. for Front Passenger Side:


      1. A012HGL

        Disengage the claw to remove the connector.

    5. A012GZD

      Disengage the hook.

    6. A012IRE

      Disengage the 11 hooks and remove the separate type front seat cushion cover with pad.

  13. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER


    1. A012JDC

      Remove the 2 hog rings.

    2. A012NDD

      Remove the 17 hog rings and separate type front seat cushion cover from the separate type front seat cushion pad.

  14. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER ASSEMBLY (w/ Seat Heater System)

  15. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD


    1. A012GP2

      Remove the 5 hog rings.

    2. A012HKW

      Remove the 3 hog rings.

    3. A012JJT

      Turn back the separate type front seatback cover.

    4. w/ Front Seat Side Airbag:


      1. A012FLSC01
        *a Bracket

        Remove the 2 nuts and disengage the 3 brackets.

    5. A012KY8

      Disengage each claw and remove the 2 front seat headrest supports.

    6. Remove the separate type front seatback cover with pad.

  16. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER


    1. A012GPG

      Remove the 6 hog rings to remove the separate type front seatback cover from the separate type front seatback pad.

  17. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK HEATER ASSEMBLY (w/ Seat Heater System)

  19. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD LH (w/ Vertical Adjuster)

      Remove the screw.

    2. Disengage the hook as shown in the illustration.

    3. Disengage the clip to remove the front seat lower cushion shield LH.

  20. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD RH (w/ Vertical Adjuster)

    Tech Tips

    Perform the same procedure as for the LH side.

  21. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION EDGE PROTECTOR LH (w/o Vertical Adjuster)

      Disengage the 3 claws and guide to remove the front seat cushion edge protector LH.

  22. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION EDGE PROTECTOR RH (w/o Vertical Adjuster)

    Tech Tips

    Perform the same procedure as for the LH side.

  23. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION EDGE PROTECTOR LH (w/ Vertical Adjuster)

      Disengage the 3 claws and guide to remove the front seat cushion edge protector LH.

  24. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION EDGE PROTECTOR RH (w/ Vertical Adjuster)

    Tech Tips

    Perform the same procedure as for the LH side.

  25. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK SPRING ASSEMBLY


    1. A012FEP

      Remove the 4 bolts.

    2. Disengage the 4 guides to remove the separate type front seatback spring assembly from the separate type front seat cushion spring assembly.

  26. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK EDGE PROTECTOR


    1. A012IY7

      Disengage each claw to remove the 2 front seatback edge protectors from the front seatback frame sub-assembly.

  27. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK SPRING SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A012HND

      Disengage the 2 claws.

    2. Disengage the 2 guides to remove the front seatback spring sub-assembly from the front seatback frame sub-assembly.

  28. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK HOOK


    1. Remove the 2 front seatback hooks from the front seatback spring sub-assembly.

  29. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SPRING SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A012LZN

      Disengage the 6 hooks to remove the front seat cushion spring sub-assembly from the front seat adjuster assembly.

  30. REMOVE SEAT TRACK ADJUSTING HANDLE


    1. A012F7N

      Disengage the 2 springs to remove the seat track adjusting handle from the front seat adjuster assembly.

  31. REMOVE SEAT ADJUSTER COVER CAP


    1. A012HK6

      Remove the 2 seat adjuster cover caps.
