FRONT PASSENGER AIRBAG ASSEMBLY INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL WIRE

   
   
   1. 

      *a	Airbag Connector
      *b	Airbag Connector Lock

      Connect the airbag connector of the No. 2 instrument panel wire to the instrument panel passenger airbag assembly.

      Note

      When connecting any airbag connector, take care not to damage the airbag wire harness.

   2. Push in the airbag connector lock to install the airbag connector to the instrument panel passenger airbag assembly.

   3. Engage the clamp.

2. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL PASSENGER AIRBAG ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. Engage the 3 hooks.

   2. Push in the instrument panel passenger airbag assembly to engage the 3 hooks.

   3. Install the instrument panel passenger airbag assembly with the 2 screws.

3. INSTALL UPPER INSTRUMENT PANEL ASSEMBLY

   for Hatchback, Wagon: Click here

4. CONNECT NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL WIRE

   
   

   1. Check that the ignition switch is off.

   2. Check that the cable is disconnected from the negative (-) battery terminal.

      CAUTION:

      Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

   3. 

      Connect the connector.

      Note

      When connecting any airbag connector, take care not to damage the airbag wire harness.

5. INSTALL INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL GARNISH ASSEMBLY (for Hatchback, Wagon)

6. INSTALL FRONT PILLAR GARNISH RH (for Sedan)

7. PERFORM DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK
