INNER REAR VIEW MIRROR REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE INNER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY (w/o EC Mirror)


    1. for Sedan:


      1. A01TAHEC02
        *a Lock Lever

        Pull the lock lever in the direction indicated by the arrow (1) shown in the illustration.

      2. Slide the inner rear view mirror assembly in the direction indicated by the arrow (2) shown in the illustration to remove it.

    2. for Hatchback, Wagon:


      1. A01TCME

        Using a T20 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the screw.

      2. Slide the inner rear view mirror assembly as shown in the illustration to remove it.

  2. REMOVE INNER REAR VIEW MIRROR STAY HOLDER COVER (w/ EC Mirror)


    1. w/o Pre-crash Safety System:


      1. A01TDCN

        Disengage the 2 guides and slide the inner rear view mirror stay holder cover as shown in the illustration.

      2. A01TBII

        Disengage the 2 claws and remove the inner rear view mirror stay holder cover.

  3. REMOVE PRE-CRASH SAFETY CITY COVER 2ND (w/ EC Mirror)

  4. REMOVE PRE-CRASH SAFETY CITY COVER (w/ EC Mirror)

  5. REMOVE INNER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY (w/ EC Mirror)


    1. w/o Pre-crash Safety System:


      1. A01T8W2

        Disconnect the connector.

      2. Using a T20 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the screw.

      3. A01T8UY

        Slide the inner rear view mirror assembly as shown in the illustration to remove it.

    2. w/ Pre-crash Safety System:


      1. A01TD91

        Disconnect the connector.

      2. A01T90P

        Disengage the clamp.

      3. A01TBLR

        Using a T20 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the screw.

      4. Slide the inner rear view mirror assembly as shown in the illustration to remove it.
