ENGINE HOOD COURTESY SWITCH INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL ENGINE HOOD COURTESY SWITCH (HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY)


    1. A01LZ21

      Apply MP grease to the sliding areas of the lock.

    2. Install the engine hood courtesy switch (hood lock assembly) with the 3 bolts.

      Torque:
      7.5 N*m  { 76 kgf*cm, 66 in.*lbf }

    3. Connect the connector.

    4. Connect the hood lock control cable assembly.

    5. Engage the guide.

    6. Install the No. 1 water hose clamp bracket with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      5.0 N*m  { 51 kgf*cm, 44 in.*lbf }

  2. ADJUST HOOD SUB-ASSEMBLY
